April was BUSY! We started the month with general conference weekend and 12 batches of cinnamon rolls to raise money for girls camp! Diana did an incredible job!
Nelson broke his arm in a collision getting on the trampoline. He was a cast trooper.
Also very suave and cool.
He wanted a pink sparkly cast but I talked him into green so I don't have to deal with his teenage self asking me WHY I let him get pink.
I found this in Isaac's backpack and it made my heart happy.
We spent a Saturday at a desert preserve park and had a lovely time, reminding me to do things like that more often.
Diana's 12th birthday coincided with our Spring EVMCO concerts. The bulk of the concert was Mehndelsonn's Elijah and it was intense and diffficult to learn... until it was easy. I love singing with my girls.
Emily has discoveded the New Era and has transformed her wall with quotes etc. She is so cute!
And finally, Diana turned 12 and entered YOUNG WOMENS!! Huzzah! She is loving it!

women's conference
A few weeks ago (right after insane choir concers) I flew off to Utah to do Women's Confrence with roomates! It was so insanely wonderful to see everyone (and take a few classes, but honestly, that was secondary).
I give you some of the greatest women in the world:
My wonderful cousin Emily (yes, Emily is named after her, FOR SURE). We haven't had a real visit forever - kids and husbands are so distracting, so it was extra wonderful to see her!
Jess, Jaime and Lesi hanging out in the new Heritage Halls. They are sososo industrial. I will have to remember to send some softness and plants with the kids if/when they go to BYU.
And Renee added to the mix. If anyone deserves a break it's Renee - twins are cute, but killer!
Here we add Carmelle and Katijean and so much laughter! The restaurant was not crowded so we stayed for over two hours and had the nicest visit.
You can't see it, but Carmelle laughed so hard she cried. That's what happens when you sit inbetween Katijean and Jaime.
I am sosososo glad I went. These are truly choice women and it was extra nice to have a break (even if it was not restful). Super duper thanks to Grammy and Grampy who watched the kids so I could go and Ryan could go to work.
