big man 5

Isaac turned FIVE today - officially big. We feasted on calazones and brownies and he got good 5 year old stuff like books, and candy, and army men so life is sweet. Isaac has grown a lot this year; his speech delay is 97% gone (just a few funny grammar quirks persist), and when he is cheerful he is the world's greatest kid - kind, helpful, funny, and loving. His Mr. Hyde (aka, Mr.Grumpy) is pretty impressive, but we see less and less of that side of Issac. In short, he is a pretty darn great kid and we really love him. Another perk of growing up and becoming less volatile is getting to go on adventures and errands with Dad. Dad is sure glad to have such a five year old to take along on camp outs, YM flag mornings, service project etc.
