i'm on a brilliant roll
Sarah LOVES to wear dresses and skirts. Sarah has a hard time being modest while wearing dresses and skirts. Sarah is too tall for all her last year dresses but still loves them. Stroke of mommy brilliance hit on Saturday and I gathered her 3 dresses and 3 pairs of stretch pants that will be too small next winter and made skirts with shorts attached!!!
Step 1 - chop bodice off skirt
Step 2 - chop legs off stretch pants.
Step 3 - hem shorts
Step 4 - Attach skirt to waistband of shorts (you can leave the cut edge raw - it's knit and will not fray).
Result: a happy, modest and set for Summer Sarah!
