canoe trip

Canoes are fun. That about sums it up. We paddled out this lovely creek and into open water. David and Sherrie bravely took on the "bad" canoe we will never borrow again.

Then, a storm blew in and usually calm, glassy Lake Pend Orielle was all wavy and stuff and that was exciting.

Back to glassy and calm.

Living in our bathing suits is what it is all about.

Roasting dinner, because we get hungry!

A nap the next day was in order - grown ups get so tired.

Heading back to camp to pack up and head home to invade the quiet of those who stayed behind.
