We broke up our national park adventures with a wonderful rest in Santa Clara. We slept in separate rooms, did laundry, visited, ate food at Grammy's, ate food at Aunt Becky's, ate food at the beach, went to church - so very nice.On Saturday we drove over the hill to Santa Cruz for a tide pool adventure. Usually Santa Cruz is cool and cloudy - not so that day - hot and sunny! We had a walk full of wonder!
It's hard to see in this picture, but right in the middle is a purple star fish! PURE MAGIC! We also saw golden colored ones. WOW WOW WOW!
Chase Cousins (minus baby Isabella who was born a month later and Mav who was in Utah). Ally (in the middle) has, in the past, taken a while to warm up (completely understandable when assaulted by FIVE cousins at once) but she was into it this visit and they had a royal good time! Oh it does my heart good. Had the van had another seat we would have just stolen her for the Summer.
Super Nora and Super Isaac being Super at Grammy and Grampy's. I think we better go back for Christmas - what a great visit!
