Has anyone out there ever painted their kitchen cabinets and had them turn out well? According to my This Old House magazine it "only takes a weekend". Cue laugh track. I'd love a real life perspective. Our poor cabinents are looking very, very shabby. Any thoughts?

Call Michelle - she can work magic on cabinets. You should she her kitchen and bathrooms - all amazing. And she does do them in a weekend. Call me if you need her number...
i can vouch for michelle's masterpiece in her kitchen (never did see the bathrooms) she is one talented lady that michelle.
